• Fixed muting of ringer volume.
• Reset music volume when alarm ends. This is required since the music volume is automatically adjusted to MAX volume when the PanicLock alarm sounds.

Main Application (triggered by PanicLock application icon)

A “PANIC” button is provided to the user that allows three methods of sounding an alarm:

1. Quick Panic – A quick click (one second or under) of the “PANIC” button will sound the Quick Panic alarm set in the application preferences.
2. Dead Man’s Switch – A long press (three seconds or over) of the “PANIC” button will activate the Dead Man’s Switch. Once you break contact with the button the Dead Man’s Switch alarm, set in the application preferences, will sound.
3. PanicLock mode – A short press (1 to 3 seconds) of the “PANIC” button will activate PanicLock mode after a three second grace period. Once it is activated the phone will sound the PanicLock alarm only if the phone is moved. This threat deterrent mode is useful as a tripwire of sorts since it relies on the Android device’s accelerometer.

Widget

This application also comes with a home-screen widget that allows you to more easily trigger a Quick Panic alarm. To do this just click on the “PANIC” button provided on the home-screen widget. Two buttons are also provided:

1. Configure button to set your Quick Panic alarm preference.
2. Launch button that launches the full-screen application directly from the widget.

Application Preferences – To configure the application preferences use the Android device’s menu button that provides a Preferences and an Exit context menu button.
